Based in Roubaix, France, Logvad has been operating a 10,000 m\u00b2 warehouse in Neuville-en-Ferrain (59) since July. Leased following the relocation of ready-to-wear company Grain de Malice, the building is equipped with garment conveyor belts on hangers, and includes a 1,000 m\u00b2 order preparation area. <\/p>\n\n
This is the third French site for the 3PL (and sixth in total), which already had two warehouses in France, in Leers and Toufflers (59), and three in Belgium, in Mouscron, Estaimpuis and Tournai. Logvad’s total storage area now stands at 35,000 m\u00b2. <\/p>\n\n
Located, like all the company’s other warehouses, on the French-Belgian border, Logvad’s new site already has as customers the home decoration chains Zodio and Kalico, and in the coming weeks the men’s ready-to-wear chain Devred and the diapers and baby hygiene products brand Joone. \u201cWe will be carrying out picking, packing, dispatch and reverse logistic operations for these chains,\u201d emphasizes Olivier Coryn, founder and CEO of Logvad. <\/p>\n\n
To achieve this, the service provider relies on EffiTrace, Effisys’ online solution for e-commerce logistics management (WMS + WCS + TMS). “Delivery times average 24 to 48 hours, but same-day delivery is possible in Paris for orders placed before 12:00 p.m. via the Colisweb and Paack delivery solutions for e-tailers,” notes Olivier Coryn. <\/p>\n\n
